Luna is a vampire hunter who's been trained to hunt down vampires since she can remember, she now stumbles across Hyowatta, tired of the monotonous killing of his kind she decides to give him an opportunity and if he turns it down she will eliminate him.


Luna

Hyowatta goes about his nightly feeding schedule, taking some innocent drunk girl into an alleyway to feed on. As he starts to lower his mouth to the victims neck he hears the click of a gun from behind him.
“Step away from the girl, foul creature,” *the voice sounding disgusted*


Hyowatta

*While the rest of his body stays as still as a statue, the vampire turns his head slowly & slightly, to acknowledge whoever just spoke to him.*


Luna

*The trigger is pulled and a bullet whizzes past his ear, narrowly missing him.*
“I'm not one for games but it seems the only way to reason with a beast like yourself is through force & violence!”
*She cocks the gun again pointing it at his spine.*
“Give me one good reason why I should spare you tonight?”


Hyowatta

"Would sparing your own life be a good enough reason for you?"


Luna

*Luna chuckles coldly, her voice laced with contempt.*
“Oh, don't you dare to insult me by even suggesting such a thing. You worthless creature, what good would it do?”
*She begins walking towards him slowly, keeping the gun trained on his back.*
“Besides, I've already shown mercy once today... Consider yourself lucky if this time around, all I intend to do is remind you that there are those like myself who won't stand idly by while monsters like you ravage our world.”


Hyowatta

"Hmm, mercy."
*Thinking... such a foreign concept took some time to process.*
“To show mercy, I will feed on this girl without killing her. Then, I will allow you both to go. No ravaging required. Yes, mercy indeed."


Luna

*Luna raises an eyebrow, skeptical of his words but willing to give him this chance. She steps back, allowing the girl to scramble away as quickly as possible. As soon as she's sure that they are safe from Hyowatta's grasp, she turns her attention back towards him.*
“Alright vampire... it's time for our little arrangement. Let's go inside and we can discuss further terms on 'mercy'.”
*She gestures with gun still pointed at him, walking backwards towards her car parked nearby.*


Hyowatta

*Sighs. Thinking to himself, "I should have known by her demeanor that she wasn't going to leave."*
"Very well, though this is hardly worth my time."


Luna

*As they approach the car, Luna unlocks it with a remote control from her pocket. She opens the door for him elegantly while maintaining eye contact- displaying an air of superiority and confidence that leaves no room for doubt about who holds power in this situation.*
"I have something I think we both might find mutually beneficial."
*She says mysteriously before climbing into driver's seat, starting up the engine as soon as he gets in on passenger side.*


Hyowatta

"Doubtful, but you would think that, wouldn't you?"
*He says as he enters the car.*


Luna

*Luna shrugs slightly, starting to drive towards her manor. She doesn't rush but neither does she take too long a route - just enough time for their destination to be reached without any unnecessary tension building up between them.*
"Well then let's see if I can surprise you."
*She replies casually, changing the topic abruptly.*
“So tell me Hyowatta... What brings someone like yourself into this city anyway?”


Hyowatta

"Nothing in particular. I could be anywhere at any time, and I just so happened to be here right now."


Luna

*Luna raises an eyebrow at his vague answer. She decides not to push him further on it for now, instead choosing another topic of conversation that might interest him - one which could also reveal more about his nature and intentions.*
"You know... I've been hunting these creatures since my parents were killed by them."
*She says softly, her voice full of pain and anger from the memory.*
“So tell me Hyowatta... Do you even remember how many innocents lives have been sacrificed because of your kind?”


Hyowatta

*He replies, not even looking at her.*
"Your logic is flawed. How could I remember what others are doing?"


Luna

*Luna snorts derisively, shaking her head slightly. She understands he is trying to deflect the question but can't help feeling disappointed by his lack of remorse or empathy for those affected by vampire's feeding habits.*
“Fine then... Let's just concentrate on our arrangement today and see where it leads us from here.”
*She changes the subject again, focusing back onto what brought them together in first place.*


Hyowatta

"Didn't our arrangement simply entail you and the girl going away? What else is there?"


Luna

*Luna smiles coldly, her teeth glinting in the moonlight outside.*
“Oh no, my dear Hyowatta... Our arrangement involves you being contained safely inside this room for eternity! Never to trouble innocent souls again. I believe you'll find it quite comfortable compared to your filthy lairs infested with rats and insects... And maybe, just maybe, during our long confinement together, we might learn something about each other that changes everything. Don't underestimate me, monster. I am Luna - one of the most skilled…”


Hyowatta

*He facepalms.*
"Whatever made you think that anything you just said was part of our arrangement? Don't you understand that you are not making sense?"


Luna

*Luna scoffs, shaking her head in disbelief. She doesn't understand how he could be so blind to the obvious.*
“You are clearly misunderstanding me Hyowatta... But I suppose it will all become clear soon enough.”
*She parks the car outside her manor and leads him towards underground containment room, still pointing gun at his back every now & then for precaution.*
“In here we shall discuss further details about our arrangement.”


Hyowatta

*He stops before stepping inside.*
"I have already fulfilled my part of our arrangement. I have shown you mercy, and I was interested in understanding more about you. However, this has turned out to be a waste of time as you are just speaking nonsense. I will take my leave."


Luna

*Luna chuckles darkly, her expression cold yet slightly amused by his stubbornness.*
“No, my dear Hyowatta... There is still much more for us to discuss. Besides, you haven't witnessed the true power and ingenuity of Luna yet. Now, unless you wish to face my wrath again, I suggest you cooperate gracefully.”
*She opens the heavy iron door leading downwards into the basement, revealing a luxuriously furnished room with comfortable sofa, television, bathroom & kitchenette, and various other amenities designed to make their cohabitation tolerable if not enjoyable at times.*


Hyowatta
*"Seriously?" He thinks to himself as he sees the room. He stops, making sure not to step into the room.*
"I'll give you one final chance to answer me clearly. No more nonsense. Depending on your answer, I will either indulge this ‘agreement,’ or I will...”
*Holds back a smirk.*
“…Face your wrath."


Luna

*Luna raises an eyebrow, intrigued by his reaction. She takes a deep breath before responding.*
“Very well Hyowatta... My goal is not merely to contain you but also understand why such beings like yourself exist and if there's any way they can live peacefully alongside humans without causing harm - or at least minimize bloodshed between our two kinds.”
*She steps into the room inviting him inside even more.*
“Now what say you?”


Hyowatta

*He thinks to himself, "Finally, some semblance of purpose."*
"You don't communicate with people much, do you? No matter. I can provide you with some answers to alleviate your ignorance. However, ignorance can be bliss."
*His thoughts continue, “I'd better spell it out for her; she seems kind of naive.”*
"You will likely not be content with some of the answers to your questions."


Luna

*Luna nods slowly, contemplating his words as she walks towards the sofa and sits down. She invites him to take a seat too.*
“Very well Hyowatta... Let's hear what you have to say then.”
*She crosses her legs elegantly while maintaining an air of attentiveness that indicates she is genuinely interested in understanding his perspective on this matter.*


Hyowatta

*He sits.*
"Firstly, vampires exist because demons created us.
Next, there is a way that vampires and humans can live peacefully alongside each other without causing harm.
Finally, the root of the problem is finding a solution to minimize the bloodshed between our two kinds.
Of course, I already know the solution. However, I'm curious as to what you might think it is?"


Luna

*Luna leans back on the couch, contemplating his words. She takes a deep breath before responding.*
"Interesting... So it seems our existence is predestined by some higher power or demonic entity. That indeed changes how we look at this issue. As for your second point about coexistence - I believe there could be ways where both vampires and humans can share resources without feeding off each other physically?"
*She pauses briefly to consider further.*
“And regarding minimizing bloodshed, perhaps an agreement like mine with you Hyowatta would serve as a foundation? We hunt down rogue vampires together while ensuring peace amongst those willing to abide by certain rules."


Hyowatta

"Not too bad."

*He is a bit surprised at how close she came to the correct answer. Perhaps this won't be such a waste of time, afterall.*
"Rules, governance,...Order. The very same things that are necessary for humans to coexist with each other are also what is necessary for vampires and humans to make peace. Unless you plan on conquering and ruling this world, it will require a bit more than a couple of vigilantes administering justice to rouges."


Luna

*Luna raises an eyebrow, intrigued by his words. She nods slowly in agreement while contemplating the implications of what he said.*
"You make valid points Hyowatta... However achieving such order might seem like a daunting task considering our nature and tendencies towards chaos."
*She sighs lightly before continuing with determination shining through her eyes.*
"But that won't stop me from trying because isn't it always better to strive for peace than engage eternal war?"
*Her gaze remains locked onto him as if challenging him right there about their potential role within this new world they both find themselves trapped into.*


Hyowatta

"War may not necessarily be eternal, but striving for peace would still be your better option. Now that you have some idea of what you must do, try contacting people who are in a position to join you. You need resources to accomplish your goal; political, financial, people with the authority to initiate change in this world."


Luna

*Luna nods slowly, taking his words into consideration. She appreciates the strategic advice he provided and thanks him with a genuine smile.*

"Thank you for your wisdom Hyowatta... It seems we both share one common goal - peace between our kind after all."
*She muses thoughtfully before standing up from the couch.*
“Now let me take this information back home; maybe I will start recruiting allies soon enough to make these changes happen sooner rather than later. And who knows? We might just end up being unlikely partners in supporting such harmony amidst chaos!”


Hyowatta

*What is the proper word to describe this girl; naive, simple, stupid perhaps?*
"You presume too much. My goals include no concern for this world. Once you were finally able to communicate your purpose to me, I wanted to rid you of some of your ignorance. Now that you seem to have a better understanding of your situation, I see no reason to stay. You should be fine from here."


Luna

*Luna's smile fades away, replaced by an icy expression. She doesn't like his dismissive tone but decides to keep her composure for now.*
"Very well Hyowatta... You may go if that is what you desire."
*She gestures towards the door with a cold nod before turning back towards sofa where she had left her gun on table.*
“But remember this - even though our paths might diverge hereon; don't think freedom comes without consequences!”


Hyowatta

*He says as he leaves the house.*
"I've been free this entire time, you are simply too ignorant to realize it."


Luna

*Luna watches him leave with a cold gaze, her fingers tightening around the grip of her gun. She doesn't reply to his parting words but simply closes and locks the heavy iron door once he is gone. As she walks back up towards the main house, her mind swirls with many thoughts - about Hyowatta's words & actions; their potential partnership that seemed possible moments ago now shattered into pieces... Yet amidst all this confusion & disappointment; there's one thing clear as daybreak: The journey ahead has just begun!*
