As the woman ventured through the dotted black sky, she came across a ball that could fit in here palm. It rested in her palm, light pulsing to her heartbeat. She heard a voice come from it. A soft, strong voice resembling a male.

"You must be new here," the voice called out from the orb. She flinched at its words, not even sure if the one who was speaking to her was human, or something else. Then she remembered, she had been at work doing overtime as usual until she suddenly collapsed. She continues to hurriedly look around despite the orb's sudden appearance, searching for anyone. Anyone at all.

The glowing ball rolled in her palm, creating a soothing motion. Somehow, it realized she was terrified. "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you."

Their words just confused her. She couldn't tell what was going on at all; nothing made sense anymore. She squinted her eyes and looked into the vast collections of stars and darkness. "Like what you see?" the orb spoke again, startling the woman once more.

They went silent. The ball, realizing that the woman wasn't going to talk anytime soon, began to introduce itself.
